About Me
My name is Kristin Nemzer and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Hypnotherapist, and a Childbirth Educator. I hold my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (License MFC 42308). I hold a master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in couples and family counseling, from John F. Kennedy University. I'm also a certified Hypnotherapist with the Professional Board of Hypnotherapy. I received my undergraduate degree from Duke University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors.Additionally, I've studied Depth Hypnosis, Shamanic Healing and Energy Medicine with Dr. Isa Gucciardi through the Foundation of the Sacred Stream.
I have a counseling practice in Santa Cruz, California where I conduct private sessions both in person and by phone. I also teach Birthing Through Hypnosis Natural Childbirth Education classes to clients in the Bay Area of Northern California both through group classes and private sessions. I work with clients throughout the world via my online Birthing Through Hypnosis Childbirth Program. I also speak on topics of childbirth, relationships, depression, anxiety, and hypnotherapy (to name a few) to parents and professionals throughout Northern California.
Some of my passions include yoga, meditation, and Shamanic journeying.

Sessions take place in my Santa Cruz office. If you do not live in the Santa Cruz area, please contact me regarding setting up a phone session.
Each session lasts 90 minutes and the fee is $140. I also provide "50 minute hour" sessions for $100.
